Vivaca A. Fox, 54, defies her years in rainbow mini-dress & purple hair in recent picture

Age is just a number for “Empire” actress, Vivaca Fox, who took to Instagram to share a photo of herself dazzling in a colorful ensemble.

The 54-year-old beauty looked many years younger than her age as she posed in a glittering rainbow-colored dress. The outfit rode well above her knees and featured a wraparound design. Fox chose a sizeable brown belt to hold the long-sleeved dress at the waist.

The "Empire" star also made sure to draw attention with her hair, sporting a color most women at her age may consider too daring. She chose a purple weave with voluminous curls that framed her lovely face and revealed just a hint of her gold earrings. Painted nails and a huge rock on one of her left fingers completed the look.

Fox has been around for a long time in Hollywood, with a career spanning as far back as 1988. The screen goddess and hair entrepreneur manages to maintain an enviable frame; something she credits to healthy eating and exercise.

She told "People" in 2015 that water aerobics was one of her secrets, while also dishing out details on her food regimen. The award-winning television host revealed:

“I make sure to have three meals a day with snacks in between.”

“In the morning, plan your daily food menu.”

Earlier this year, Fox released her memoir, “Everyday, I’m Hustling,” where she spoke about her struggles, life lessons, and much-publicized past with rapper, 50cent. She referred to the relationship on “The Wendy Williams Show”:

“Last year there was definitely some misconceptions that were out about our relationship. And at the time I was writing the book, and it was before we made peace. And I just wanted to clarify.”

Interestingly, the “Set It Off” actress confessed that she was still attracted to the rapper and did not rule out a possibility of them becoming a couple again. According to her:

“See that’s what a grown woman does — she owns it.”

Grown woman or not, however, Fox is still a daddy’s girl at heart. Last Fathers’ Day, she paid tribute to her late dad who she vows “never will be 4gotten!”
