Jennifer Lopez was at the MTV Music Awards to perform and to receive the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award on the 21st of August 2018, reported Hollywood Life.

Lopez, 49, owned the red carpet at the Radio City Music Hall and she flaunted her voluptuous figure in a tight intricately draped silver lamé dress that showed off her toned arms.

The lamé floor-length gown had one daring strap, and Lopez wore her long hair loose and smooth falling over her bare shoulders.

She held hands with her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez and showed off her perfect makeup by Scott Barnes and her beautiful nails by Tom Bachik. Her long blonde hair was styled by Chris Appleton.

She accessorized with an elegant silver clutch, a bold cuff bracelet, and high-heeled strappy sandals.

The 49-year-old flaunted a perfect figure

Lopez works hard to keep her body toned, makes sure she gets plenty of sleep, and drinks lots of water.

In addition, Lopes doesn’t smoke drink coffee or alcohol. Lopez avoids processed foods and eats mostly organic produce. Her diet comprises mostly lean meat, fish, vegetables, and pulses.

Lopez consumes a lot of protein to stay energetic and have the stamina for those demanding dance routines that have always been her trademark.

Lopez went from silver to dazzling gold

Later on in the evening, for her performance and to receive her award, Lopez kept to the metallic theme and rocked a gold jumpsuit with matching sneakers.

She took the opportunity to thank her family and her children for being her support and her inspiration, and had some romantic words to say to Rodriguez whom she called her "twin soul."
