Jennifer Garner was awarded a star and celebrated with her family

Actress Jennifer Garner was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on the 21st of August 2018.

This is a prestigious award given only to the most famous and greatest of stars, and Garner received the award surrounded by her family and her children.

Garner, 46, looked stunning in a tailored blue dress with an unusual asymmetrical neckline that showed off her long, graceful neck.

She wore matching high heels, and her hair echoed her neckline with a flirtatious asymmetrical look.

Garner was accompanied by her parents William and Patricia Garner, and her sisters, Melissa and Susannah.

Her co-stars from the 2004 classic film "13 Going on 30" Steve Carell, Bryan Cranston, and Judy Greer gave touching speeches, honoring Garner and her dazzling talent.

Also present to support their mom were the actress' three children by ex Ben Affleck: Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6.

Garner stars in a new action movie as a vigilante

Garner, whose latest film, "Peppermint" is due for release, looked happy and flashed her brilliant smile at the camera, looking every inch the Hollywood movie star.

"Peppermint" is an action movie, in which Garner plays a woman who seeks revenge after the murders of her husband and daughter.

Garner is Riley North, a woman who awakens from a coma after surviving a brutal attack that killed her husband and daughter. When her need for justice is thwarted, she decides to take matters into her own hands and get the killers herself.

Garner and Affleck, divorced but cordial

Garner divorced fellow actor Ben Affleck in 2015. The actor has been hitting the headlines after his relationship with former girlfriend Lindsay Shookus ended and is now dating Playboy model Shauna Sexton.

Garner and Affleck have maintained an amicable relationship and are both dedicated and committed parents to their 3 children.
