Tamar Braxton melts hearts with new video of son on his first day in kindergarten

Tamar Braxton marks her son's first day in kindergarten with a touching video of the two of them. The proud mom revealed she didn't cry and looks forward to some changes at home now that her son will be in school.

It will be quieter and cartoon-free at home now that Tamar Braxton’s son, Logan is venturing into kindergarten. The singer revealed this when she shared a video sending him off on his first day in school and her excitement abounds.

It wasn’t long ago when Tamar welcomed her son she shares with her estranged husband Vince Herbert. Logan was a pleasant surprise especially after Tamar admitted she and Vince were suffering from fertility issues prior to her pregnancy. It took seven months of Logan in her belly before Tamar confirmed she was with child fearing for his safety while in her womb. This is also the reason why since his birth in June 2013, Tamar has been devoted to being the best mom to her son she considers her “miracle baby.”

Despite her separation from Logan’s father in 2016, Tamar has made it a point to involve him in her son’s life. In June, Vince joined the rest of the Braxton clan in celebrating Logan’s 5thbirthday in Disneyland. Tamar explained in an interview in the ‘The View” that she and her husband remain devoted to raising Logan in the “most comfortable, amazing, loving, secure household.” She also said this was also the reason they decided to part ways.

Now that Logan is off to kindergarten, Tamar’s excitement is twofold. Happy for her son who’s embarking on a new chapter, she’s also thrilled to be having her house to herself. In the caption for the video she shared of the two of them sharing hugs and kisses along the school corridor, Tamar said,

“I can’t believe he’s in kindergarten my baby was sooo excited!! I’m excited to have my house back and the cartoons aren’t on every television.”

Tamar was also proud of herself that she didn’t cry during the send-off. Instead, she doted on her boy kissing and hugging him, and lapping him up with her dog tongue filter in the video she shared. Logan was dressed in a red shirt and beige pants and carried a backpack like a schoolboy that he now is. Tamar hugged him from behind wearing black sweats and a pair of boots.

Logan is a character just like his mother. Last month, Tamar revealed how mischievous he can be when she shared a letter he wrote for his grandmother ahead of a sleepover with her. The young boy appeared to throw shade at Tamar’s mother by telling her he would only be staying two days with her. The little boy sure knew how to set things straight and Tamar was amused.

Meanwhile, Tamar recently set things straight regarding her relationship with her ex. Responding to a fan who asked her if she was still with Vince, she firmly wrote,

“#tellyafriendnaw.”

A lot has gone on between Tamar and Vince for things to go back to the way they used to be. Vince allegedly cheated on her apart from being violent with her during their 10-year-marriage. Their divorce has yet to be finalized though latest reports reveal courts are leaning on dismissing their case due to lack of proof that Tamar properly served her ex their divorce papers. Vince has not responded to her filing and the judge has threatened to dismiss their petition if the pair continues to remain irresponsive.
