Gabrielle Union stuns in full-length shimmery blue & gold gown at MJ's 60th birthday celebration

Ageless beauty, Gabrielle Union, was at late Michael Jackson’s posthumous birthday celebration on Wednesday. The actress, also known for her incredible sense of style, did not disappoint.

Union stunned in a shimmery blue-and-gold dress with long sleeves. She left her buttons undone all the way to her waist where she cinched the outfit with a black band. Revealing a little cleavage, Union strutted her stuff on and off the red carpet. She rocked her ensemble with a short, sleek hairstyle.

The “Being Mary Jane” star had reasonable cause to dress up too. It was the 60th birthday celebration of the King of Pop. Union and a host of other celebrities gathered to celebrate the life of the late icon at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

The event was organized by Michael’s family and hosted by his children, Paris and Prince. His brothers, Jackie and Tito Jackson, were also spotted.

Usher, Ashlee Simpson, Tinashe, and Vanessa Hudgens were some of the guests that graced the occasion alongside Union.

Recall that last month, Union dedicated one of her #WomanCrushWednesday Instagram posts to Michael’s sister, Janet. The gesture was prompted by Union’s resolve to use her social media platform for good.

She explained to E! News:

“If I can't use my social media to amplify, uplift, inspire one woman a week. I can't call myself a feminist. I can't call myself an advocate for women. …women uplifting other women should be the norm."

During the interview, the “Breaking In” actress also spoke about her collaboration with Hallmark’s “Put It Into Words,” emphasizing the importance of thoughtfulness in today’s world:

“Especially in this day in age, we're very careless with our words. Especially via text or email or social media. And you're very quick to anger, very quick to wound, very quick to be a lot more harsh than you ever would in person.”

Meanwhile, congratulations are in order for the award-winning actress who celebrated her fourth wedding anniversary with husband, Dwayne Wade, yesterday. The couple tied the knot on August 30, 2014, and Union became a stepmom to the NBA player’s three kids.
