A previously unseen photo of Meghan Markle snuggling her goddaughter has been making the rounds on the internet. The throwback image was taken before Markle’s introduction into British royalty.

The cozy photo gives viewers a glimpse into the life of Meghan Markle the actress before she became the Duchess of Sussex. Captured in casual blue pajamas and a messy top-knot, Markle enjoyed breakfast in bed, joined by the little girl in a pink fairy costume.

The girl is believed to be Rylan Litt, one of Markle’s goddaughters. Markle is also the godmother to Rylan’s sister, Remi. Their mother, bag designer Benita Litt, is close friends with the former “Suits” actress and was a fun host for Markle during Christmas 2016.

Before Markle abandoned her Instagram page because of her royal romance with Prince Harry, the Litts had a regular feature in her photos.

The adorable fairy pictured with Markle would go on to walk up the aisle with her at Windsor Castle as the former actress prepared to tie the knot with the British throne sixth in line. Rylan’s sister, Remi, was also a member of the bridal party that accompanied the couple on their special day.

Last Wednesday, they hosted a performance of the hit musical “Hamilton” at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London. The show was held to raise funds for Sentebale, a charity founded by Prince Harry to support young people affected by HIV in Botswana and Lesotho.

The royal couple was also at the Wellchild award ceremony yesterday in London, where they joined others in celebrating the courage of young people with life-threatening health conditions and the hard work of their caregivers.

The rumor mill had a couple of ideas, one of which was that Winfrey tried to woo Ragland with gifts in exchange for an exclusive interview. Now, the media mogul has debunked all the rumors. She explained:

“The story was that Meghan’s mom had come to my house and she left laden with gifts. You know what the gifts were? First of all, she’s great at yoga, so I said, ‘Bring your yoga mat and your sneaks in case we just want to do yoga on the lawn.’ So one of the bags was a yoga mat and the other was lunch.”

The 64-year-old network owner added:

“She said, ‘I love kumquats,’ and I said, ‘I have a kumquat tree! You want some kumquats?’ So it was a basket of kumquats, people. For all of the people who said I am getting her gifts and I'm trying to bribe her for an interview—they were kumquats. If kumquats can get you an interview, I’m all for it!”
