For Rose, the garbage truck is awesome. She loves to see it appear in the street where she lives and she greets the workers riding on it every week. One day, one of them stood at her door with a special gift.

Rose parent’s caught the moment when their daughter was surprised by the waste collectors on video and shared it via YouTube, and the little girl’s reaction is priceless. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa

Her expressions of joy every time the garbage truck arrives were so delightful for the waste collectors that in a touching display of kindness they decided to surprise the girl with a special gift, as Western Journal reported.

Without knowing it was her lucky day, Rose sat by the window right on time to watch the garbage truck arrive. Like every other day, she smiled, giggled, and saluted. But to her surprise, this time the men had something special for her.

While Rose gushed over them as she saw the workers’s routine, one of the men in the truck stopped by the door of her home carrying something in his hands. It was a dreamy present for her.

Rose's parents rushed to the door to meet the kind-hearted waste collector. The man had chosen the most incredible gift for Rose: A toy garbage truck. And as if this wasn’t enough, he also granted her a garbage-truck-themed coloring book.

This seemed to be too much for the little girl to process, and she froze for a moment before running away out of shyness. But finally, she came to terms with the fact that this was actually happening and she wasn’t dreaming.

After holding the toy truck in her hands and giving the collector a high-five, a very happy Rose shows the coloring book to his father, who is holding the camera.

Rose's parents reminded her to say thank you and also thanked the waste disposal workers for their generosity.

Before the garbage truck left, Rose's mother carried her outside so she could thank the men and wave them goodbye.

The video was published on YouTube on August 24 and it has been viewed more than 23,000 times.

Even though garbage trucks are nothing special for most adults, and some people might even rather not be any near them, many children see them as something out of this world.

In a very similar story, a five-year-old boy on the autism spectrum named Daniel Newberger went from being afraid of the noise the dump truck does when it drives by to become fascinated by its mechanism after his mother showed him a video.

After turning the weekly visit of the garbage collectors into his favorite ritual, Newberger befriended one of the workers, named Manuel, who one day surprised him with a gift and even let him sit in the truck’s driver’s seat for a picture.
