Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet's 29-year-old daughter Zoe looked stunning in her recent Instagram post of her wearing a white dress and sporting her signature long locks just like her mother.

Zoe Kravitz is a star in her own right, making her own name as a singer, actress, and model. She previously starred on the HBO short series "Big Little Lies", and is now also the face of YSL beauty. Recently, though, she has been more open about having to overcome racial stereotypes in Hollywood which she had a hard time doing in the past.

“I am definitely mixed. Both my parents are mixed. I have white family on both sides. The older I get, the more I experience life, I am identifying more and more with being black, and what that means — being more and more proud of that and feeling connected to my roots and my history."

Zoe's dad, rock superstar, and actor Lenny Kravitz was born to an African-American mother and a Jewish father, while her mom, Lisa Bonet, was born to a Jewish mother and African-American father.

Kravitz revealed that her difficulty to accept her black heritage was because she grew up surrounded by white kids. Because of this, she made it a point not to be looked at as black as she wanted to fit in. However, as she's gotten older, she says that these do not matter to her anymore thanks to her dad, who made her love their culture.

"I’m so in love with my culture and so proud to be black ... My dad especially has always been very connected to his history, and it’s important to him that I understand where I come from.”

Now that she has embraced her heritage and has been more confident about who she is as a person, Zoe has been sharing more of her life on social media. Posting a photo of her in a long t-shirt dress, she showed off her slim body and her structured face while taking a mirror selfie.

Zoe's parents, Lenny and Lisa, have been separated since 1993, and the 29-year-old has adjusted to that fact. While many children don't get along with their parents' significant others after marriage, Zoe is particularly close to her mom's new husband Jason Momoa.

The stepfather-and-daughter duo has been seen spending some quality time together, making sure that nothing gets in the way of them having a happy family. After all, her mom has two younger children now, Lola Iolani Momoa and Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa
