Oprah Winfrey spotted having a blast at Beyoncé and Jay-Z's On The Run II tour
Oprah Winfrey rocks to Beyonce and Jay-Z's tunes attending their concert in Los Angeles. The media mogul was even caught on video showing off Jay-Z's trademark hand gesture.
She may be one of the busiest billionaires in town but Oprah Winfrey took time out to attend Jay-Z and Beyonce’s “On The Run II” concert this weekend just to have a little fun.
On Sunday, the media mogul was spotted with her friend Gayle King, dancing to the beat of The Carters’ hits at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The 64-year-old even showcased Jay-Z’s signature diamond hand gesture in a clip shared by Gayle on her social media along with other videos of exciting moments on stage.
Oprah was dressed in a white dress shirt with a long tail matched with a shimmery vest and black pants. She wore comfy sneakers allowing her to dance her night away. She was later spotted leaving the concert laughing along with Gayle.
The jam-packed concert, the first of two nights in Los Angeles also drew other celebrities including the Kardashian’s, Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner, Big Sean and others.
Oprah and the concert couple have been friends from way back but it was actually her first time to watch them on stage together. Her concert outing comes in the heels of her recent collaboration with Beyonce for the singer’s Ivy Park Line. Oprah’s October cover for her “O, The Oprah Magazine” features a metallic boxing robe from the activewear label which the host fashioned.
Oprah’s cover photographed by Ruven Afanador featured her in a fresh-faced look as she donned the robe’s hoodie over her head. Ivy Line Park teased behind-the-scenes photos on its Instagram page and hailed the host for rocking the athletic robe.
This isn’t the first time the entertainment tycoon channeled Beyonce. Viewers of her recent film “A Wrinkle In Time” noticed that her character, Mrs. Which could pass as Beyonce’s aunt. She even joked about this with Entertainment Tonight.
“It’s a whole lot to put on, but when I did the whole scene out in the middle of the grasses and the golden grasses, I thought, ‘I am a relative of Beyoncé … A distant relative of Beyoncé.’”
The film which was released in March is directed by her friend, Ava Duverney who she says was the reason she agreed to do the movie.
