Multi Grammy award winning vocalist Celine Dion is set to end her current residency at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas in June 2019. She made the announcement via facebook on Monday September 24.
Her Las Vegas tour at the Colosseum begins on October 30 and ends on June 8. This will be the end of over 20 years of performances at Caesars Palace for the French Canadian who has the soulful tone and superb vocals.
“I definitely have mixed feelings about this final run. Las Vegas has become my home and performing at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been a big part of my life for the past two decades.”
The 50 year old singer took to Facebook on Monday to express her gratitude and reflect on her time in Las Vegas. When we visited her facebook page it revealed just how significant it is for her to perform at the Colosseum which was built specifically for her, A New Day show in Las Vegas over a decade ago. Celine has also expressed her gratitude to her fans who have supported her through the years.
“It’s been an amazing experience and I’m so grateful to all the fans who have come to see us throughout the years.”
Saying goodbye is never easy but her fans are certainly pleased with her performances and she shares a special connection with them. Celine Dion is a powerhouse and has created quite a legacy especially in Las Vegas which she embraces as her home.
“Every show we do at the Colosseum throughout this fall and right up until the final one, will feel very special”
A very emotional and heartfelt post by the internationally acclaimed singer and certainly one that will warm the hearts of her fans. This is truly an exciting time for Celine and her fans as pre-sold tickets become available as early as September 25.
