Hollywood super couple Rachel Weisz, 48, and Daniel Craig, 50, welcome their first child together
The couple excitedly welcomed their baby girl earlier in September. On Wednesday they were spotted in high spirits as Daniel and Rachel walked around New York with a baby carrier.
Daniel dressed in jeans and a gray T-shirt while Rachel looked chic in a nude trench coat worn over a white shirt, a loose T-shirt and leggings.

THEY ADMIRE EACH OTHER WANTING TO KEEP THE MARRIAGE ALIVE
Rachel Weisz,48 and Daniel Craig,50 have been friends for many years before they started dating in 2010, six months later in June 2011 they got married with a private New York ceremony and four guests in attendance. Weisz said:
“I’m very happy being married, very, very happy.”
Craig has an adult daughter named Ella, now 18 with ex Fiona Loudon while Weisz has Henry, 12-years old son with director Darren Aronofsky.
HAVING A CHILD WAS THE NEXT NATURAL STEP
After Weisz and Craig found out they would be parents, they kept the details private, not revealing the due date or gender.
During an interview with The New York Times in April promoting her new movie she revealed her pregnancy adding:
“We’re going to have a little human. We can’t wait to meet him or her. It’s all such a mystery.”
Having a child was also the next step for Richards Gere,69 and wife Alejandra Silva, 35 who announced on Sunday they are expecting their first child after keeping the news private at first.
Privacy appears as important to Gere and Silva as it is to Craig and Weisz. The ‘Bond’ couple kept a low profile during the pregnancy while preparing for the birth.
Welcoming their baby girl earlier this month, Daniel and Rachel looked like doting parents while strolling around New York on Wednesday.
On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, they asked Weisz:
“Is the child going to be raised American or English?”
Rachel’s reply:
“I suppose it will be bilingual!”
The couple was friends for years, but the chemistry came together while co-starring as a married couple in the 2010 thriller ‘Dream House’ on location in Canada. Headlines followed in November 2010 announcing Weisz’s split from her partner of nine years, Darren Aronofsky. Rumors spread of their romance but both denied their relationship.
