Gabby Sidibe melts hearts with her 'son' in sweet photo
Actress Gabby Sidibe, best known for her role in “Precious,” took to Instagram and shared a photo to commemorate National Son’s Day.
In the image, the woman appeared sitting on a couch wearing a red and black shower hat, a pink surgical mask, and a white shirt while holding her cat, Aaron Purr Sir.
She considers Aaron Purr Sir to be her son and explained in the caption: “Don’t talk to me or my son ever again,” followed by the hashtag "National Son Day."
As soon as she uploaded that photo, her fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts.
One of them pointed out that both the actress and her son were beautiful. Another one chimed in and said that she loved Aaron’s facial expression.
According to Madame Noire, Sidibe is one of the many celebrities who adopted a cat instead of a dog recently. She did so last summer and and they are inseparable.
Gabby has documented their relationship on social media, showing her and Aaron watching “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” taking selfies, and even going to the gym together.
Given the fact that she has posted a lot of images of Aaron, one of her followers took to one of her posts on Instagram to write that Gabby looked “hella lonely.”
The actress quickly fought back writing: “Oh no! Do I look lonelier than you with your 33 followers?” proving that not only does she likes taking pictures with Aaron but she is willing to defend their relationship.
Recently, revealed her cat’s nickname on Twitter. While his full name is Aaron Purr Sir, she usually calls him A-A-Ron.
However, he answers to neither of those names because he is a “renegade” who doesn’t speak English, the actress pointed out.
HER FIRST RED-CARPET DRESS
Gabby attended this year's Curvy Con at New York Fashion Week, hoping to raise awareness on the importance of having more available options for plus-sized women in the fashion world.
She revealed that for her first major red-carpet event, Cannes, she had to buy her dress from Torrid because no designer offered to dress her.
The actress added that nobody would give her the chance to wear any of their clothes just because she was “too fat.”
