Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery's little daughter dances and sings in adorable video
Ellen Pompeo uses her adorable daughter's dance skills to promote the premiere of her show in a video she posted. Find out what she did to entice the little girl to dance for her.
An adorable video of Ellen Pompeo’s daughter makes the perfect segue for the actress to promote the premiere of her hit show, “Grey’s Anatomy.”
In the clip, her 3 ½-year old Sienna May dons a pair of shades and grooves to slow hip-hop music proving what a natural she is. The curly-haired toddler channels a cool vibe as she shakes her body, snaps her fingers and clucks her tongue in sync with the song’s beat.
And it seems Ellen may have used the powers of the reward system to entice her daughter to dance for her in the clip. Having done her part, Sienna moves towards their kitchen counter and addresses her mom when she asks,
“Now can I have a cookie?”
The adorable video easily stole the hearts of Ellen’s followers who probably also heeded the actress’ invitation to watch the season premiere of “Grey’s Anatomy” which she promoted in her caption.
“The wine is tired....Grab your boo and your cookies!!!Greys premiere tonight!!!”
Now on its 15th season, the medical drama currently holds the record of being the longest-running scripted primetime series on ABC. By next year, if it continues on its 16thseason, it would surpass “ER”’s record of becoming the longest-running medical drama in the history of television.
Ellen, the show’s frontrunner, has managed to stay despite cast members coming and going. However, she recently admitted that she’s unsure of whether she’ll still be around for the record-breaking 16th season.
“I’m clearly not prepared right now to make any formal announcement about what my future is on the show, but I am really feeling like we have told the majority of the stories that we can tell. It’s about time that I mix it up. I’m definitely looking for a change.”
This was not the first time Ellen hinted at her exit from the show. Back in May, she spoke about wanting to be more involved in her children’s lives. She also said that the producers of the show are starting to think of how to end it. It goes without saying that once Ellen decides to move on from “Grey’s Anatomy,” it would also be the end of the show. This has alarmed show producer Shonda Rhimes who still has Ellen’s signature on a contract guaranteeing she’d be around until season 16.
As is characteristic of storylines in “Grey’s Anatomy,” you’re never really sure how things will end. Fans of the show will just have to wait and see how the show wraps it up whenever that final season will be.
Meanwhile, as she continues to entertain her audiences in her show, Ellen can rely on her husband Chris Ivery to hold the fort at home. She gushed about him on Father's Day when she shared a photo of her social-media averse husband walking hand-in-hand with the youngest of their three children. She describes Chris as "my rock...my soulmate...my protector" and ends her message by adding "you are my everything."
Chris and Ellen, 48, share daughters Stella, born in 2009, Sienna, in 2014 and Eli in 2016.
