After cementing her image as a terrific rock star, Hadwin yet again chose another iconic rock song for her performance, this time opting for Steppenwolf’s “Born To Be Wild.”

As soon as she held the microphone and started belting out the lyrics to the song, she proved everyone once again why she was sent straight into the finals by the judges.

The end of her performance was marked by the entire studio audience rising up to their feet in her appreciation. Even the judges were up on their feet to give her a standing ovation.

This time, judge Simon Cowell seemed to be the one who was most impressed as he quickly ran over to Mandell and gave him a hug for bringing Hadwin straight into the finals.

Cowell later passed his judgment telling Hadwin, "You're a bundle of excitement and it's raw and messy. I saw you at the beginning of the show, shaking like a leaf and then you come out on stage and turn into a maniac," Cowell said. "That's why I absolutely love you."

Mandell used the lyrics of the song to praise Hadwin and told her that she was “born to be wild.” He then added, “This was wild! You were amazing. My prediction is you’re going to be the winner.”

Judge Heidi Klum also praised the young girl but pointed out something unique about her. She told Hadwin that she was impressed by the fact that she chose to stray away from the norm that girls her age should stick to pop songs.

For Judge Mel B, Hadwin has delivered just one minor mistake and that was that the former Spice Girl could “feel her nerves.”

In the after-performance interview on the show, Hadwin expressed her gratitude for Mandell for pressing the Golden Buzzer and for believing in her from the very start.

She also explained that she had learned from the show to not look at the bad comments from haters and to concentrate on the positives.

According to Good Housekeeping, Hadwin was under scrutiny throughout the season for previously competing on "The Voice Kids UK." Many also criticized her by alleging that her shyness on the show was fake.
