Kate Middleton skilfully managed to combine modern chic with royally acceptable wear to create a dazzlingly elegant look for Princess Eugenie's wedding.

The 36-year-old Duchess of Cambridge was accompanied by husband Prince William. The couple's children would be part of the bridal party.

Their last child, Prince Louis, was born in April. Since then, Middleton had remained on maternity leave until early last week.

For Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's royal wedding, Middleton wore a rich fuchsia dress that featured puffed sleeves and a pleated waist.

The dress reached just above her knees and highlighted Middleton's slender waistline.

It was designed by Alexander McQueen who had previously designed Middleton's wedding dress.

She paired it with a velvet veiled beret created by milliner Philip Treacy. She wore classic black pumps.

Middleton and William sat down next to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Before the big event, the two shared a rare intimate moment when they held hands in the pews according to PEOPLE.

Their eldest kids, Prince George, 5, and Princess Charlott 3, served in the ceremony as the pageboy and the bridesmaid respectively.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle also stunned as in monochromatic navy ensemble.

The Duchess of Sussex wore the Givenchy design and paired it with a matching beret.

The bride's mother, Sarah Ferguson, may have stolen the show with her meme-inducing hat that was compared to something out of the wizarding world of Harry Potter.

The emerald hat caught lots of attention since it looked like the golden snitch ball created by J.K. Rowling for the fictional game of "Quidditch" from her books.

Just last week, Middleton also wowed royal fans when she wore a lilac A-line Emilia Wickstead dress.

The Duchess attended a Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit. It was her second public affair following her maternity leave.
