Fans of Lil’ Mo may not be hearing new music from her in the nearest future as the singer recently announced she’s about to become a lawyer. In the meantime, they can expect some goodies in 2019, as Mo promised.

Taking to Instagram on October 25, the “Ta Da” singer, whose married name is Cynthia Dargan, shared a picture note where she opened up to her followers about how her decision has been a long time coming.

“Today has been one of those days,” Mo wrote. “I usually hold it all together. But when it’s so much going on inside it’s hard to suppress something you have been wanting to do. I’ve given 20 years plus to being LIL MO.”

She also revealed plans to leave fans with something new from her in 2019, after which she’d make the switch to law. Mo wrote:

“I’m going to give you all NEW MUSIC and a NEW TV SHOW in 2019. We pushing for January!! Then after that, it’s time to be Cynthia Dargan. I’ve always wanted to be a LAWYER! The time is now. I’ll use my influence to be great. Pray for my family and I. this is a decision I’ve been wanting to make but the time has come.”

The big decision, however, comes with a condition Mo revealed in the caption: “unless my new song with w— K—- do so crazy that I have no choice but to tour.”

Lil’ Mo fans showed up in the comments section to express their support for the “4eva” singer’s newest endeavor.

“Congratulations on chasing your dream!!! You’re a Scorpio so we already know you’ll be the best attorney in whatever field you choose to specialize in. I’m excited and happy for you!!”- @jane_jetsen

“Amen @thelilmoshow I'm here for this and you have my prayer and blessing Sis. I love you. Go hard and follow your deepest and brightest dreams xoxo”- @babygirl_official79

Mo’s big news comes eight months after she had a miscarriage. The R&B talent, who already has five children from three marriages, was expecting her sixth with current husband Karl Dargan when they lost the baby on February 6.

Mo and her husband earlier announced on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: New York” reunion that they were expecting a child, but Mo shared the sad news on Instagram in March.

The Grammy nominee also expressed hope that “God has bigger plans and I know when the time is right, there will be another one!!”

Recall also that in May, another reality star, Brandi Boyd of “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” suffered a miscarriage. The devastated mom shared a touching Instagram video and said:

“…We lost our baby today the fight we didn't win and I will never loose faith in God no matter what but my spirit is broken my heart hurts so bad the physical pain is numb.”
