Mother of 4 shot to death while young daughter was asleep in another room

A 31-year-old mother of four passed away after she was shot in the torso inside her home in Geelong, Australia.

Emergency medical staff rushed in Emily Miller’s home in Conrad Court around 9:20 p.m. on November 21. When they arrived, Miller was barely clinging to life.

She was immediately rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, she passed away hours later due to her injuries.

Many of her friends took to social media to express their grief over Miller’s passing.

One of Miller’s family members spoke with the Daily Mail and said, “My heart aches for her children.” While her friend, Bliss Tannenberg shared that everyone was devastated and shocked when they learned about Miller’s death.

The woman’s mother and brother spoke with 9News where they also expressed their sadness over the loss.

Miller’s mother, Doreen Forehan, said, “She’s a loving mom and that’s all that mattered. She didn’t deserve this, no one does. It’s just horrible.”

She added, “Not to forget that there's four little innocent children in this that have lost their mom, so it's just devastating.”

As for her brother, Trent Forehan, he described his sister as someone who was always full of energy.

According to reports from 7News, one of Miller’s kids, an 18-month-old was sleeping in the other room when the incident happened.

Police officers were quick to investigate the crime scene and had been searching for the gun since November 22, 2018.

Meanwhile, on the same day, the authorities placed a 25-year-old man in custody. He was alleged to be Miller’s boyfriend and was at home at the time of the incident.

The day after, police declared that they had arrested the man and charged him with prohibited person possession firearm, trafficking heroin and possession of heroin.

As of now, detectives are still investigating the case.

In another story, police reported that three people died in a murder-suicide case in Belle Meade, Tennessee.

The authorities revealed that 65-year-old Gail Andrews Miller killed her mother, 97-year-old Rachel Andrews and her sister, 68-year-old Barbara Andrews, before committing suicide.

Police still found Gail alive when they arrived, but she died before the ambulance reached the crime scene. As for Barbara, she was already dead when the police found her, but their mother, Rachel was still alive. She also died when she arrived at the hospital.
