Tamera Mowry pays sweet tribute to husband Adam Housley on Thanksgiving
Tamera Mowry, one of the co-hosts of “The Real,” took to Instagram to share a photo of her posing next to her husband, Adam Housley, and sharing a loving message on Thanksgiving.
In the image, the actress appeared wearing a dark winter jacket and a white cap while smiling and laying on Adam’s shoulder, flashing her beautiful wedding ring. Adam, on the other hand, was wearing a San Francisco 49ers jacket and a cap.
The couple was posing on a field full of orange leaves that gave the image a marvelous contrast. While the pic was gorgeous, the message Tamera wrote in the caption was the highlight of the post.
THE CAPTION
“Thankful for you and our family. You have been my rock. Thankful for your faith in God that inspires me to keep my faith. Thank you for calming my nerves in the middle of the night. Thank you for loving me through it all. I love you,” wrote Tamera.
PEOPLE’S REACTION
As soon as she uploaded that image, her followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. Most of them praised the couple saying that they looked beautiful. Others shared their condolences over the passing of their niece, Alaina, who died during the Borderline Bar shooting in California on November 7.
COMING BACK TO “THE REAL”
Two weeks after that incident, Tamera took to Instagram to share with her followers that she will return to her spot as one of the co-hosts of “The Real.” In the image, she appeared next to her colleagues Loni Love, Adrienne Houghton, and Jeannie Mai.
Tamera also expressed appreciation for the three women, revealing how much their love and support held her up during the difficult time.
“I love you ladies. Your prayers, support, comfort and love wrapped me with warmth and strength these past two weeks.” She ended her note with a quote attributed to the late Princess Diana: “If you find someone you love in your life, then hang on to that love”
FINAL GOODBYE
Alaina, an 18-year-old college freshman, was laid to rest on November 15. Tamera said her final goodbye in a heartbreaking picture quote that read, “Grief never ends... but it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It is the price of love.”
TAMERA'S GRATITUDE
Despite the unfortunate outcome, Tamera was grateful for Loni’s support, and she said as much in a note sent through Adrienne.
“Please tell Loni, thank you. Thank you for being there for me and answering her phone at 1 am. For giving me hope…until I got the call. Thank you for holding me and helping me breathe through the unthinkable. Thank you for always believing in the Housleys. The Housleys will be strong. We will never let Alaina or any other victim of gun violence die in vain.”
