Kris Jenner's sister spends 60th birthday in hospital, and the momager appears to ignore her

Not a lot of people know that Kris Jenner has a younger sister. Her name is Karen Houghton, and she recently celebrated her 60th birthday. Noticeably, Jenner did not greet her sibling on social media.

The 63-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star allegedly disregarded her sister’s birthday as Houghton celebrated in the hospital.

There were no posts on social media, even though Jenner frequently makes an effort to write touching greetings for her family and friends and posts them in the past.

Natalie Zettel, Jenner’s niece, shared a photo of Houghton on her Instagram Story, showing the 60-year-old in a hospital bed, preparing to eat her meal with a slice of birthday cake.

Zettel, who is 19 years old and a model, wrote, “Happy birthday Mom!” along with several hearts.

Not much is known as to why Houghton was in the hospital, but she had a bandage on her leg in the photo.

A day after Houghton’s birthday, Jenner posted several photos of her friend Dee Ocleppo for her birthday. She even accompanied the images with a lengthy message.

Previous reports revealed that Jenner has been hiding Houghton and keeping her away from the public eye.

In 2013, Jenner reportedly wasn’t too fond of the idea that Houghton’s past relationships were with men who had drug problems and criminal records.

An unknown source close to the Kardashian-Jenner family said, “Kris is so over the top when it comes to being image-conscious.”

“While Karen is a totally down-to-earth sweetheart, she certainly doesn’t come close to meeting the glam standards that Kris likes to publicly project for her family,” the source added.

After the surgery, Houghton looked very similar to her older sister, which she said made her happy.
