Ellen DeGeneres teased Jennifer Lopez in hopes of extracting information on her prospective wedding to Alex Rodriguez.

Movie star and singer Jennifer Lopez, 49, had to work hard to stay cool under pressure on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on November 29, 2018.

On the occasion of her 21st visit to DeGeneres' show, the host took the opportunity to tease Lopez about her relationship with Alex Rodriguez. The interview was posted on Youtube and has garnered over 500,000 views in just 24 hours.

“HE SAID THAT Y’ALL ARE GOING TO BE GETTING MARRIED.”

Ellen opened the interview by complementing the star on her incredibly youthful appearance, and telling her how much she enjoyed her Vegas show.

She then blindsided the celebrity by telling her Alex Rodriguez had sent her a text telling Ellen he and Lopez were getting married.

Lopez has maintained that neither she nor Rodriguez are in a hurry to formalize their relationship, and are savoring the moment, one day at a time.

LOPEZ DENIED THAT SHE AND RODRIGUEZ ARE GETTING MARRIED

Lopez denied it and asked to see the text, which Ellen nimbly evaded by explaining that she does not have her phone on her when she is working. Ellen continued to question Lopez relentlessly and told her she would not be allowed to leave until she told the truth.

DEGENERES SUGGESTED A CHRISTMAS WEDDING

Lopez admitted that she and Rodriguez had a wonderful relationship and DeGeneres suggested a Christmas wedding.

Lopez has maintained that neither she nor Rodriguez are in a hurry to formalize their relationship, and are savoring the moment, one day at a time.

“We have to take our time. I’ve made plenty of mistakes in my past. We’re mature now. We’re grown-ups, and we’re going to take our time and we’re going to do things at our own pace.”

Alex Rodriguez had previously been married to Cynthia Scurtis whom he divorced in 2008, and Lopez was previously married to waiter Ojani Noa, dancer Cris Judd, and singer Marc Anthony.

Rodriguez and Scurtis share daughters Ella, 10, and Natasha, 14; while Lopez and Anthony have 10-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
