Diddy & Kim Porter's children are all smiles in new video after their mother's passing at only 47

A refreshing video of P. Diddy's children with the late Kim Porter shows them dancing together a week after their mother was laid to rest.

Just a week after their mother was laid to rest, Kim Porter’s children with P. Diddy appear together in a dance video showing the world that life goes on.

DANCE AMONG SIBLINGS

Christian Combs, Porter and Diddy’s eldest son shared the video on his Instagram. In the clip, he and his twin sisters D’Lila Star and Jessie James are all smiles while jumping and grooving on board a boat.

Dressed in sweaters and hoodies, the siblings appeared to be having a lot of fun and delighted in documenting their afternoon. 20-year-old Christian, who takes after his father’s passion for music, used the song “My Boo” to accompany the dance video and simply captioned it with three laughing emojis and a heart.

WAKING UP TO A NIGHTMARE

Porter’s untimely death on November 16 at the young age of 47 hit Diddy hard after sharing 13 years of his life and their three children with her. She was found lifeless in her home, believed to have died of complications from the flu and pneumonia.

Diddy described the days after his ex-girlfriend’s death as a “nightmare” he has trouble waking up to. He also paid tribute to her in several posts, one of which honored their “unexplainable relationship.”

“We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER S—!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.”

PORTER'S FUNERAL

Porter was laid to rest on November 24 after an elaborate funeral prepared by Diddy. Her casket traveled by way of a horse-drawn carriage to the service held at Columbus’ Cascade Hills Church in her hometown in Georgia.

Following the funeral, Diddy shared an emotional video and declared Porter “the truest definition of a MOTHER.” In the touching clip, Porter is featured playing in the water with their 11-year-old twins who were much younger then along with Diddy’s other daughter, Chance, now 12.

DIDDY'S RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS CHILDREN

Diddy has a close relationship with all his children including Porter’s older son, Quincy who he treats as his own. The 27-year-old told People in 2017 that apart from being his dad, he considers Diddy as “a friend, a teacher and a therapist.”

Meanwhile, Christian also said that his father was “the boss” who “oversees everything,” when it comes to the music he makes. “We have a close relationship,” he adds.

As for his twin daughters, Combs would often share images of them on his social media while referring to them as his “babies.” Combs is also a father to Chance, his daughter with Sarah Chapman, and Justin, 24, with Misa Hylton-Brim.

Now that Porter is gone, her four children can expect Diddy to be there for them to fill the void of their mother’s loss. It’s refreshing to see in their latest video below that they’re coping despite the tragedy.
