Traci Braxton's daughter-in-law shares pictures with the star's grandson who turned 7 months old

Time does fly when you’re having fun. It seemed like only yesterday when Traci Braxton welcomed her first grandchild, and now the little man is seven months old and looking cuter than ever.

Braxton’s son, Kevin Surratt Jr. and his girlfriend, Oliviah welcomed their son earlier in May, and the singer/reality star could not contain her excitement.

In a recent Instagram post, Oliviah shared a series of photos with their growing son, also named Kevin. Olivia and the little man puckered up for a snapchat filter selfie in one of the pics while he posed with a pumpkin in another. A third showed Kevin held by his daddy.

Accompanying the images was a sweet note from Oliviah:

“I can’t believe my baby is 7 months old already!!!! His first birthday will be here before we know it.”

Back in May, Braxton wasted no time announcing the new addition to their family on social media.

“A moment I will never, EVER forget!” began the “Braxton Family Values” star. “A constant reminder that family is so important! So blessed and honored to be The Duchess of a beautiful and healthy baby boy!”

The 47-year-old followed with a picture of the curly-haired baby sleeping peacefully and wrote:

“This is by far the best Mother’s Day present. I wish I could describe how amazing It feels to be a Duchess! So thankful for @sirkevinjr and @oliviahaaron for bringing this special gift into our family. The future has never looked so bright. @sirratt23 and I are so happy to call you our grandbaby.”

Braxton has remained adamant about being called “Duchess” and not “Grandma,” and the “Lifeline” singer has a good reason. She spoke with The Grio earlier this year and explained:

“My sisters and I…when we were younger, we said if we ever have kids, and our kids have kids, our names would be Duchess. That’s royalty, that’s what they call the Queens when they have grandkids. So, I’m royalty.”

Although Braxton said she initially wanted to "punch" her son when he told her his girlfriend was pregnant, she has come to enjoy her role as a Duchess and was very involved during the couple’s preparations for their baby.

She added during her chat with The Grio:

“[Kevin Jr.] made me a duchess and I’m ecstatic because now my parents, my sisters, and my brother…my grand-baby is making them a first generation of a great-grandchild.”

Like Olivia, Braxton is probably counting the days and can’t wait until her grandson hits the Big 1!
