Tamar Braxton heats up talks after saying her sick son Logan has bad breath in recent video

Tamar Braxton is catching major heat from fans on social media after she said her son has terrible breath.

The reality star shared a muted video of her five-year-old son, Logan Herbert, lying ill in bed with what looks like an oxygen mask attached to his nose. Tamar is beside him, and although she allows Logan to squeeze her face playfully, the look on her face is one of mild disgust.

“I love my son. But his breath really stinks when he is sick. Poor Beans,” the 41-year-old wrote.

Her remarks triggered varying comments from Instagram users in the comment section, but while many agreed with Tamar and wished Logan a speedy recovery, some fans berated her for saying something mean about her son.

“So why don’t you brush his teeth?”

“I’m not feeling this. Why would you post this?”

“Tamar, try to be a good mother and do [sic] exploit your child for your own selfish gain. Keep your career antics separate from be [sic] a good mother.”

Logan was feeling much better in June when his parents set aside their divorce troubles to throw him a fun-filled birthday bash at Disneyland.

Tamar and her estranged husband, Vince Herbert, along with the rest of the Braxton family, turned up in style for Logan’s day. They even had matching custom T-shirts that said “Logan’s 5th birthday.” From the photos that made it to the internet, the little man had a swell time and couldn’t have asked for a better celebration.

Despite her issues with Vince, Tamar insists that their son’s well-being is what comes first. The “Braxton Family Values” star who is currently dating a Nigerian man, said earlier this year:

“I think the bigger picture of everything is that we have a responsibility to my amazing 4-year-old son. Just to raise him in the most comfortable, amazing, loving and secure household that we can—that’s why we don’t live together.”

In September, Tamar still shared a photo of Logan holding his hand over her mouth and explained: “This is what he does when his shows are on, and I’m on the phone trying to work #mybeans.”

Last month, the “Love And War” singer reportedly pleaded with the judge to sign off on her divorce with Vince after the latter refused to respond to the petition, but whatever happens between her and Vince, one thing is clear: Tamar loves her son.
