Beyoncé stuns in 'Indian' outfit for performance at pre-wedding of India's richest man's daughter

Beyoncé looked glamorous in what appeared to be a traditional Indian ensemble over the weekend. The global superstar was in the Asian country to perform at yet another lavish wedding.

The “Flawless” singer flaunted her curves in a floor-length red dress featuring gold flickers. The glittering outfit also had a plunging neckline that revealed some cleavage.

A dangerously-high slit rode up the right side of the gown, but Beyoncé stayed modest with flesh-colored tights. According to Daily Mail, the stunning outfit was designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, and the “Lemonade” singer paired it with gold shoes, matching hand jewelry, an ornate headpiece, and dangling earrings.

Beyonce was in India to perform at the pre-wedding festivities of Isha Ambani, the daughter of India’s richest man, and her groom, Anand Piramal, the son of an Indian billionaire.

The lavish affairs took place at the Oberoi Udaivilas and Taj Lake Palace, and Beyoncé got to perform her hit tracks, “Perfect” and “Crazy In Love” in honor of the couple.

The union of the Ambanis and the Piramals is predicted to be one of the most extravagant Indian weddings of all time, and from the pre-wedding activities, that prediction seems spot-on.

According to BBC, Isha’s father, Mukesh Ambani, is the wealthiest man in Asia and the 19th wealthiest person in the world with a personal fortune of around $47 billion.

He is the Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, a conglomerate that includes businesses across oil and gas, telecom, petrochemicals, retail, and media sectors.

Isha, a 27-year-old Yale graduate is said to be on the board of directors of two companies within her father’s empire and in 2015, was named by Forbes as one of Asia’s women to watch

The groom, Anand, also comes from money. He is a real estate mogul and belongs to the wealthy Piramal family valued at $5.4 billion. The Harvard Business School graduate is also listed as an executive director of the family company, Piramal Group.

Isha and Anand’s wedding comes about a week after Indian actress, Priyanka Chopra tied the knot with her husband, Nick Jonas in lavish celebrations. Isha was a bridesmaid at that wedding, but on Wednesday, she and her man will finally be married.

Other big names flown in for the wedding include 2016 U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, The Huffington Post editor-in-chief Arianna Huffington, 21st Century Fox CEO James Murdoch, BP Group CEO Bob Dudley, and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

Meanwhile, Beyonce was spotted leaving the Asian country on Monday. She did her best to go unnoticed in an oversized gray sweatsuit and sporty shoes, but paparazzi were still able to get some pictures.

It’s been a busy month for the mother-of-three who performed last week at a concert in South Africa. For that event, she went with her husband, rapper Jay-Z, and their three children, daughter Blue Ivy, and twins Rumi and Sir.
