Meghan Markle and Prince Harry release never-before-seen photo from royal wedding as Christmas card

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have started a new tradition. The couple has released their first-ever Christmas card.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are spending their first festive season as a royal couple. To mark the special occasion they have released a Christmas card with an exclusive pic of their private wedding celebrations.

The couple was photographed from behind as they enjoy the fireworks at the royal wedding. The pic was from the evening reception at Frogmore House this past May.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to share a new photograph from their Wedding Reception at Frogmore House on 19th May. The photograph, which was taken by photographer Chris Allerton, features on Their Royal Highnesses’ Christmas card this year.” revealed the palace in a statement

Their office at Kensington Palace released the image. The release coincided with the release of Harry’s brother Prince William and his family.

This year has been a momentous year for the couple. Harry and Meghan were married in May. In October they went on a tour of Australia, New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji during which time they announced they are expecting their first child.

Next year is set to be just as busy for the newlyweds. Their first child is due in Spring and they will move out of Kensington Palace.

The couple plan to move into Windsor Castle’s Frogmore Cottage. Their new home is close to the house where their evening wedding party was held.

They announced their move a few days after the palace revealed that Prince William and Prince Harry are considering breaking up their joint “court” at Kensington Palace. The brother intends to create two separate offices.

Prince William is set to become Prince of Wales as the heir to his father Prince Charles. While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle intend to find their own path.

“The arrival of Meghan has changed the dynamic of the relationship in a fairly significant way,” revealed the royals author Sally Bedell Smith in an interview. She added, “It is inevitable and practical because it gives Harry and Meghan some freedom to build up their own collection of interests and charities.”

“Meghan has very strong views on what she is interested in and that may be what Harry shares, but not what William and Kate share," said Sally Bedell Smith.
