Diddy shares touching tribute to late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter on her 48th birthday

P. Diddy celebrates "Kim Porter Day" with three sweet tributes to her.

It’s been a month since P. Diddy’s soul mate and mother of his three children, Kim Porter passed away and she would have turned 48 on December 15. To commemorate her special day, Diddy declared it “Kim Porter Day” and shared a series of tributes on social media.

CELEBRATING "KIM PORTER DAY"

The first of the three posts the rapper shared on Kim’s birthday was a colorful drawing of her amidst angels. He shared the image at midnight and expressed how much he missed her after greeting her a happy birthday. Diddy extended the letter “O” in the word “so” to prove his point. It was also the first time he coined the term Kim Porter Day which he added as a hashtag at the end of his caption.

His second tribute which came later featured an old video of him and Kim which he accompanied with another message of love and longing.

Finally, he shared a photo of the late model with her 27-year-old son Quincy Brown. He was the product of her relationship with Al Brown. Kim also shares a son with Diddy. His name is Christian and he’s 20. Again, he greeted her a happy birthday in his caption and gushed about her smile.

DIDDY AND KIM'S TWINS' PRE-BIRTHDAY BASH

Diddy’s tributes came just a day after he celebrated him and Kim’s twin daughters’ birthday. He threw an advanced birthday bash for D’Lila and Jessie Combs who’ll be turning 12 on December 21. Diddy explained that he decided to celebrate earlier because many guests would already be traveling closer to Christmas.

Guests were on roller skates at the 80’s themed party held at L.A.’s “World of Wheels.” Among them was Kim Kardashian who even shared a video showcasing her skills on skates.

KIM'S DEATH

The twins were evidently happy that day which is all Diddy really wanted for them, especially after the recent loss of their mother. Diddy was devastated with the news of Kim's death. She was found lifeless in her home, suspected to have died from the flu and pneumonia she was nursing prior to her death. Coroners are still trying to determine the actual cause of her passing.

DIDDY AND KIM'S SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP

Though they were no longer together at the time of her death, Diddy reserved a special place in his heart for her. They were together for 13 years and he considered her family. He even shared a touching tribute after her death describing them as "more than soulmates." Diddy also promised to take care of their children.
