Diddy and Kim Porter's son pays touching tribute to late mother on her 48th birthday

Kim Porter’s family is determined to keep her memory alive, and in a recent Instagram post, her younger son is celebrating what would have been her 48th birthday.

Porter, who passed away last month, would have turned 48 on December 15, but even though her family is still missing her absence, they did all they could to preserve her memory.

In a touching tribute to his mother, Christian Combs -- Porter’s son with Music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs -- poured out his heart.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY. I LOVE you so much MISS you soo much!! And Wish you was here for me to give you a Big Hug And kiss!”

The 20-year-old accompanied the message with a picture of himself and his “mommy” while she was alive. Always the doting mom, Porter was kissing her baby boy while she held on to a flower bouquet.

DIDDY'S TRIBUTES

Diddy was also not left out of the celebration, going a step further to declare December 15 as #KimPorterDay. The “Bad Boy” CEO also paid tribute to his former girlfriend and the mother of three of his children with an illustration of her sitting amidst angels.

In another post celebrating her birthday, Diddy shared a video montage of the times he shared with Porter and wrote:

“Happy Birthday Kim. We love you and we miss you. #KimPorterDay.”

THE TWINS CELEBRATE

The “Press Play” rapper also threw an elaborate birthday bash for the twin girls he shares with Porter. Jessie and D’Lila Star will turn 12 on December 21, but their dad moved the party forward because of the holidays and had it coincide with the proclaimed #KimPorterDay.

The party was an 80's-themed affair that held at World on Wheels in Los Angeles, and the twins and their friends wore neon outfits. One of the major attractions was roller skating and a huge five-tier pink cake.

LIFE WITHOUT MOMMY

The twins are Porter’s youngest children, and Diddy was worried for them after their mother’s death. After Diddy and Christian took up the responsibility of school drop-off and pick-up, the Hip-Hop mogul still asked for prayers on social media. Thankfully, he revealed subsequently that his girls were now smiling again.

Porter was found dead at her home on November 15, and even though she was said to have suffered from pneumonia, the exact cause of death is not yet known.

Porter and Diddy dated on and off for 13 years. The former runway model also has an older son, Quincy Brown, from a previous relationship. Diddy raised Quincy like his son, along with his children from other relationships.
