Evelyn Lozada proudly revealed her son has a special honor in school and she made sure she was there to witness it. Joining her was the boy’s father and her ex, Carl Crawford. Together they showed the world what co-parenting is all about.

Evelyn Lozada may have parted ways with Carl Crawford but because they share a son, Carl Leo Crawford, Jr., they stay united for him. The ex-couple recently spent the day together paying tribute to Leo for being recognized as “Star of the Week” in school.

UNITING FOR THEIR SON

Evelyn shared photos and video clips from their school visit where she and Carl spent time in Leo’s classroom meeting his classmates. They also admired a board devoted to the four-year-old because it was his week. A collage of photos adorned the board including snaps of him with his parents.

It appeared the family of three later shared a meal to celebrate Leo’s honor as Evelyn also posted a photo taken at a restaurant. The little boy enjoyed pancakes, bacon, and eggs.

FANS PRAISE THEM FOR CO-PARENTING THEIR CHILD

Evelyn's post was received with a lot of accolades from fans who admired her and Carl's co-parenting relationship. One fan implied how mature they were, writing,

WHY THEY SPLIT

Evelyn and Carl were engaged for three years before they decided to go their separate ways last year. According to Evelyn’s representative, they broke up due to infidelity issues. The cheating reportedly happened while Evelyn was undergoing IVF procedures so she could give Leo a baby sister. With that plan thrown off the window after her separation from Carl, Evelyn was left with nine frozen eggs waiting to be fertilized and no baby sister for Leo.

LEO'S HALF-SISTER

Meanwhile, Leo already has an older half-sister, Shaniece Hairston, who Evelyn gave birth to when she was only 17. The "Basketball Wives" star raised her without a father and she’s now a grown-up model for Wilhelmina Models.
