Wendy Williams sparked health concerns again after viewers noticed she’s been sitting more often during her show. In true Wendy style, the talk show host had a response to all the speculations.

During a recent holiday gifts segment on her eponymous talk show, the host sat while "Good Housekeeping" Style Director Lori Bergamotto went through a set of possible presents.

The “Wendy’s Got the Heat” author also missed a taping for the show on Monday morning, no thanks to a fractured shoulder that left her wearing a sling.

It was a red flag for show regulars because they know Williams would usually walk around and pick up various items. The concerns were heightened after she leaned on a podium during a December 12 edition of “Ask Wendy.”

Williams finally addressed the speculations on a recent “Hot Topics” segment. Before diving into any gossip for the day, the 54-year-old said:

“It has come to my attention that… you all are noticing that you all are noticing that I sit a lot. I love to have several seats. I don’t just sit here. I’ve been sitting in the audience; I sit to do demo projects as well. You know why? ‘Cause I want to. ‘Cause this is my show and this is how I want to do it.”

Williams further stressed that she works hard on her show “every single day” and that there’s a lot people don’t get to see about her activities behind the scenes, which include a lot flying in and out of New York where she films her show.

The former radio host added:

“There is not a talk show host day or not that does it better than me. I’m not running so hard anymore. … It’s my party. Welcome to it. And in terms of how I’m feeling, I’m feeling swell.”

Williams’ speech received thunderous applause from her studio audience, but it wasn’t the same with viewers at home. In the comment section of the episode’s YouTube clip, some fans thought she was “extra defensive.”

The “Wendy’s Got the Heat” author also missed a taping for the show on Monday morning, no thanks to a fractured shoulder that left her wearing a sling.

Hiding the sling under a pink sweater on Tuesday, Wendy told the audience: “There’s no way I could have done yesterday’s show,” she explained on Tuesday. “I was all about the medical care yesterday, from one doctor to the other.”

Williams’ health first came under scrutiny after she passed out on stage in October last year. Earlier this year, she also took three weeks off work after announcing that she was diagnosed with Graves’ disease in addition to her hyperthyroidism condition.
