Robin Roberts steals hearts with sweet video of her longtime girlfriend 'up in a tree pod'

Robin Roberts, the journalist best known for “Good Morning America,” took to Instagram to share a video having a “tranquil Tuesday” with her partner Amber Laign.

In the video, the couple appeared sitting in a table that was being pulled up. After showing the beautiful view they had, Robin asked Amber the name of the thing they were into, and she replied, “it’s a tree pod.”

Once they reached the top, Robin showed the beautiful scenery in front of them again. The highlight was the beautiful water some yards away from them. Another evident aspect of the clip was how in love Amber looked while talking to Robin.

For the caption, the “GMA” co-host wished all her followers a “Tranquil Tuesday” and pointed out that her family “happened to be up in a tree pod.” As soon as Robin uploaded that clip, her followers took to the comment section.

“Okay now that is incredible! Happy happy holidays to you both!” wrote one user.

“That looks so beautiful and so peaceful what a way to spend it with your love robin your so amazing and u have a beautiful wife [sic],” added a second follower.

“Keep on enjoying. Can't wait till you let us know where you and Amber are. Curious,” pointed out another one.

ROBIN AND AMBER’S RELATIONSHIP

The couple met each other in 2005 on a blind date, and they have stayed together ever since. They have endured difficult situations throughout the years, though, including the dreadful diagnosis of myelodysplastic syndrome that Robin got in 2012. Thankfully, she endured some medical procedures and is healthy nowadays.

Even though the “GMA” co-host and Amber have been together for more than a decade already, Robin didn’t come out of the closet until 2013 when she posted a Facebook message letting everybody know her real sexual orientation.

While Robin and Amber are clearly in love, the host doesn’t share photos of her partner in social media as frequently as expected. Earlier this month, Robin uploaded one in which she appeared leaning on Amber’s shoulder in a very sweet way.

Roberts donned a long-sleeved white t-shirt and a white hat, while Laign sported a black t-shirt. Clearly at home with one another, Laign closed her eyes as she rested her face on Robin's head.

Captioning the sweet photo, the host said: “No matter where you were or who you were with this holiday weekend...hope it left you feeling like this...absolutely and totally loved. Bless you sweet Amber and blissful Key West for my #MondayMotivation.”
