Heidi Klum flashes long-awaited engagement ring after almost a year of being in a relationship

The 45-year-old supermodel and businesswoman, Heidi Klum, is getting married!

Heidi Klum has been dating Tom Kaulitz for more than a year and announced on Twitter this week that he proposed and she said yes.

She shared a black-and-white photo that showed her hugging the 29-year-old Kaulitz, as well as her new engagement ring.

The post has received more than 20,000 likes since it was uploaded on December 24.

They officially announced their relationship two months later when they attended the Cannes amFAR Gala at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in France.

Fans have been waiting for the news for months, and Klum shut rumors of an engagement down three months ago. She said at the time:

“I don’t know why everyone keeps saying that. Everyone is asking me. When you do what I do, you wear a lot of fashion. A lot of jewelry. I always look for something that goes with the outfit. So, I wear big rings.”

While this will be Kaulitz's first marriage, it will be Klum's third. She was married to stylist Ric Pipino from 1997 until 2002.

Klum began dating musician Seal in 2004, and the couple tied the knot a year later. They share three biological children and one adopted – Leni, 14, Henry, 13, Johan, 12, and the 9-year-old Lou.

Klum made headlines back in November when she dressed as Fiona from Shrek for her 19th Annual Halloween Party in New York.

Naturally, Kaulitz went as Shrek, and the duo stole the show. They looked unrecognizable thanks to the help of Prostethic Rennaissance Inc.

Klum wore a green dress with gold embroidery while Kaultiz also dressed in Shrek's signature outfit from the classic film.

The couple recorded their entire process of preparing for the party and shared it with the followers on Instagram.
