Here's why Princess Charlotte is always wearing dresses

Princess Charlotte is always made to wear dresses during public outings, so she never looks “out of date.”

Children’s wear designer Rachel Filey said Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, wants her three-year-old daughter to look timeless.

Kate has seen to it that Princess Charlotte mostly wears dresses print florals and pastel shades.

“If they wear very simple things… it's timeless in that you can't really date a specific photo or put them in something that seems out of date. They have chosen a very traditional look and are a traditional family,” Riley explained.

STRICT DRESS RULES

Members of the Royal Family have to follow strict dress codes. There’s a specific reason too why five-year-old Prince George wears shorts in public.

“It's a very English thing to dress a young boy in shorts,” said etiquette expert William Hanson, adding that he would otherwise look “decidedly suburban”.

He said Prince George’s style is stipulated by tradition. Boys, he said, “graduate” to wear trousers at eight years old.

YOUNG ROYALS AT A WEDDING

George and Charlotte were the pageboy and bridesmaid of the new couple.

They walked down the aisle of St. George Chapel in Windsor Castle, England, along with their dad’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, during the ceremony.

The siblings, along with other children, were transformed into tiny angels with uniforms designed by Amalia Rita from Amaya Kids.

The other pageboys and bridesmaids were their second cousins and the great-great nephew of Hubert de Givenchy, the label that made Eugenie’s wedding gown just like they did for Meghan Markle.

Like many British royal weddings in recent decades, Prince Eugenie and Jack’s wedding was televised, though it was not as popular as this year’s previous nuptials by Prince Harry and American actress, Meghan Markle.
