Simon Cowell flashes his belly on camera during a pre-Christmas day on the beach

Simon Cowell, 59, goes shirtless at the beach with his 41-year-old girlfriend and mother of their 4-year-old son (Eric) -Lauren Silverman.

The X-factor judge shows some sun over tanned skin while on his annual vacation to Barbados. He frequently forgets to bring the factor 50 with him when visiting the beach at Barbados each year.

He looked slightly sunburnt upon stepping onto the beach with his family for some fun time.

Still, he seemed to be having the best time even with the sunburn, as he was spotted putting on his life jacket to go jet-skiing with his son, Eric.

He wore a pair of white shorts and of course his trademark aviator sunglasses while heading to the beach. His girlfriend, Lauren, rocked a black, strapless swimsuit which had a make-up detail in front to show off some cleavage and a high leg design that showed off her toned legs. She wrapped the look up with mirrored sunglasses and a white baseball cap.

Simon Cowell is the typical definition of a doting father, despite the sore from the sunburn, he still went jet-skiing with his lovely son - Eric.

He hopped on the jet-ski with the son, and they both did an excellent job of holding on tight.

This would not be their first outing together, Simon frequently goes out with their 4-year-old son. He recently brought Eric to the set of X-factor and later on, said he's been training his son to take over his music empire.

Simon wishes he had Eric much earlier in life, but he's optimistic that whatever happens, does so for a reason, he no longer dwells on the thought.

Lauren and Simon have been dating for six years. They had a rocky start because, in 2013, it was revealed she had been in a relationship with his then best friend; pictures surfaced of the couple even kissing on a yacht.

They went ahead to still welcome their son, Eric in February 2014, whom they named him after Simons father.

Fans did not bother about Simons sunburnt chest; they just wanted to snap pictures of the adorable son.

The doting father smiled while the pictures were being taken.
