Jada & Will Smith get into the Christmas spirit in pic with all of their kids & her mom Adrienne
Will Smith's family features in the most festive Christmas Eve photo as they don red and green outfits and fun hats during a rare Christmas celebration in their home.
It was definitely a colorful and festive Christmas for Will and Jada Smith’s family judging from their family’s Christmas Eve photo. The A-list stars along with their children and Jada’s mother were dressed in their own versions of green and red outfits and donned holiday hats for the most memorable celebrity family yuletide pic yet.
A FUN FAMILY CHRISTMAS EVE PHOTO
Will shared the photo on his Instagram and gushed about how his wife “LOOOOVES Christmas” in his caption.
“I think she’s finally Rubbin’ Off on the rest of us. Merry Christmas Eve, Everybody.”
Joining the father of the house in front of the Christmas tree were his wife who wore a wreath-like headpiece, her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, his son Trey with ex-wife Sheree Fletcher and his two children with Jada -Jaden and Willow. Each one wore a festive hat. Will’s was shaped like a gift, Trey’s was sock-like and Willow’s was a Christmas tree.
PREPARING FOR A RARE CHRISTMAS AT HOME
A couple of days before this family pic was taken, Will already clued in his fans on how Christmas will be going down in their home this year. He shared a video of their fully lit receiving area courtesy of Jada. He explained that his wife never decorated their home during the holidays because their family would normally go out of town. This year, they decided to celebrate at home so Jada went all out to provide a festive atmosphere for her family.
The clip featured their giant Christmas tree filled with lights and the surrounding pillars of their home decked in lights too. Will joked in his caption that Jada went on “Full Blast” and “bought every Christmas light costco had and hung ‘em in the living room.”
At one point during the clip, he hollered for Willow and Jaden then asked them to get into the Christmas spirit by urging them to dress up in holiday clothes – we now know because of their Christmas eve photo that his children obliged him.
FIRST LOOK AT WILL'S GENIE LOOK
Meanwhile, Will was in a different costume last week when he debuted his look for the remake of the film "Aladdin" where he stars as the Genie. The actor sported a bald head with a top knot, a goatee and hoop earrings and wore a blue beaded costume. He revealed in his caption that his skin will also be blue in the actual film. He was joined in the poster by the actors who’ll be playing Princess Jasmine and Aladdin – Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud.
The film will be directed by Guy Richie and promises to be a different take from the animated version released decades ago. Of Will’s portrayal of the wish-fulfilling character, one Disney executive described it as part Fresh Prince and part Hitch, referring to the actor’s roles in the TV show “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and the film “Hitch.”
The film is set to be released in May 2019.
