Celebs, fancy looks, elegant decorations: See how the Kardashian-Jenners throw a Christmas party

The Kardashians know how to throw a party, and their Christmas bash is the proof. This year, the celebration took place at the Kardashian-West mansion, which they turned into a Winter Wonderland, with mountains of snow included, where many celebs gathered to celebrate.

The annual Kardashian Christmas party usually takes place at Kris Jenner’s Calabasas home, but this year, Kim and Kanye took over the host duties and created a spectacular Whoville Winter Wonderland in their home.

Kim revealed through her Instagram stories how her backyard was turned into a snowy paradise, with pine trees covered in snow, an igloo, and a mountain from which the guests later slid on sleighs in their best evening gowns.

THE CELEBRITY GUEST LIST

Among the guests were, of course, the Kardashian-Jenner clan: Khloé, Kourtney, Kylie and Kendall, and their respective kids, also Scott Disick and his girlfriend Sofia Richie, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, Sia, Baby Face Edmonds, Dave Chapelle, Tyler the Creator, and Kimora and Ming Lee Simmons.

John Legend was in charge of the musical entertainment for the night, as he gave the guests a private concert with some of his best hits and new songs from his recent Christmas album. At one point, Kim and Kanye stood up to slow dance to “All of Me,” basking in the romantic atmosphere of the place.

At one point, Paris Hilton and Kim took a sleigh and slid down the snow together. Kourtney, Kanye, and Kendall also tried it, causing laughs among the audience when they toppled over before reaching the end of the fake mountain.

THE DECORATIONS

Aside from the artificial snow in the backyard, the Kardashian-West also made sure the inside of their home matched the all-white theme. They had fluffy clouds in the ceiling of their ballroom, and the halls and tables were decorated with “truffula trees” like those of Dr. Seuss stories.

They also a had a kids’ corner with a churros machine, a wintery sky projected on the roof, and sweets tables with donuts, cupcakes, cookies, gingerbread houses to build, custom-made lollipops, and hot dogs on a stick.

Santa and the Grinch were also present at the celebration and took pics with the kids and some of the adults too.

THE OUTFITS

Kim stunned in a classic white dress, while Kourtney rocked a velvety dark green mini dress in which she flaunted her toned legs and a lot of cleavage thanks to its plunging neckline. Khloé, on the other hand, was matching with baby True in customized mommy-daughter outfits for the occasion.

The new mom donned a long-sleeved bedazzled crop top and a layered tulle skirt, while baby True had the same outfit plus a headwrap to top her look.

Kylie Jenner and baby Stormi were also matching in sparkly silver dresses, and Kendall Jenner made head turns in an off-the-shoulder lime green dress that hugged her slim figure and enhanced her curves.

Kris, the matriarch of the family, looked gorgeous in a long silver dress with a bold rep lip and giant hoop earrings.

THE FAMILY PICTURE

Just a few days ago Kim revealed the awaited family Christmas card, explaining that it was hard to get every member of the family involved and, in the end, only she, Khloé and Kourtney appeared on the picture alongside their kids plus Robert Kardashian’s daughter, Dream.

Kris, Kanye, Kendall, Rob, Travis Scott, Tristan Thompson, and Scott Disick were missing in the pic. However, fans took particular offense to the fact that Kendall was the only one of the sisters missing in the portrait.

While the Victoria’s Secret model poked fun to the drama created by fans, Khloé slammed the haters by stating that Kendall chose to not be in the picture because she thought it would be lovely if it were only the moms with their kids.

“Man you guys are so dramatic even for a Christmas card!! Damned if we do and damned if we don’t. Just enjoy the [expletive] photo. Obviously they are our brothers and sisters, so I think we know what everybody is comfortable with. MERRY CHRISTMAS,” Khloé added in the comment section of her Instagram account.
