Gordon Ramsay's wife, Tana is pregnant with the couple's fifth child

Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana welcomed in the New Year on an exciting note. They announced Tana's pregnancy with their fifth child.

Gordon Ramsay's wife, Tana, took to Instagram to ring in the New Year. In typical Ramsay style, the New Years Eve post was not average.

The couple revealed in the special post that they are expecting their fifth child. Tana broke the happy news in the Instagram video she posted.

The 44-year-old mother showed off her prominent baby bump. She then went on to suggest that the newest member of the Ramsay family could be arriving soon.

In the video, each member of the current Ramsay family takes a turn to wish viewers a Happy New Year! Each person sports a conspiratory grin as the camera pans from one person to the next.

After everyone has a turn, an excited Gordon, 52, makes the amazing revelation that there's another Ramsay on the way. He then laughs happily as the camera pans to Tana's tummy.

"And guess what? Happy New Year because… we’ve got another one coming!" said Gordon Ramsay.

The celebrity couple already has four children: Megan, 21, Matilda, 17, and twins Jack and Holly, 19. All four children celebrated the news with their parents in the Instagram video.

People immediately took to the comments to send their warmest regards to the family. Many felt it was a good omen for the year ahead.

"Congratulations that baby is so lucky to have an amazing family like you lot love you all." wrote one user.

In June 2016, Gordon and Tana had suffered a devastating miscarriage. Tana had been five months pregnant at the time.

At the time Gordon took to Facebook writing, "Hi guys, Tana and I want to thank you so much for your support over the past couple of weeks. We had a devastating weekend as Tana has sadly miscarried our son at five months. We’re together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes. I’d especially like to send a big thank you to the amazing team at Portland Hospital for everything they’ve done. Gx"

Earlier this year, for his 50th Birthday, the world-famous chef was nearly brought to tears when his children surprised him with a heartwarming birthday party. With the recent revelation, signs point to Gordon being spoilt by one more child on his next birthday.
