The Queen of the United Kingdom's residence has six photos which fill in as a royal highlight reel.

These photographs were picked to pay tribute to major occasions of the previous year, as reported by People.

To kept her father's memory alive, Queen Elizabeth chose to display a photo of him during the Christmas address.

The year 2018 was quite the busy year for the 92-year-old monarch.

In her annual speech, she stated: “It’s been a busy year for my family, with two weddings and two babies – and another child expected soon. It helps to keep a grandmother well occupied."

Charles, Prince of Wales, celebrated his 70th birthday on November 14. To honor the special occasion, the prince's family gathered for a few photos.

Taken in September outside Clarence House, the sweet snap shows Harry and William standing behind him and Camilla with Kate and Meghan.

In April 2018, Prince William and Kate welcomed their third child, Prince Louis.

The royal baby was featured in their first Christmas card as a family five.

The photo was placed on the side table in the background of Queen Elizabeth‘s address.

On May 19, 2018, the House of Windsor officially welcomed a new member into the fold when Meghan Markle tied the knot with Prince Harry in St George's Chapel.

Only moments after the wedding, the couple posed for a dreamy black-and-white photo highlighting just both of them.

Her Majesty also chose a picture of Charles as a baby to pay tribute to his milestone birthday.

The photo showed Charles when he was only six months old. Then-Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip hold him.

The wedding of Eugenie and Jack took place on October 12, 2018, at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The Queen chose an official photo from the big day to celebrate the event. The portrait featured Eugenie and Jack with their young bridal party, many of whom are the Queen’s great-grandchildren.

A TRIBUTE TO HER FATHER KING GEORGE VI

To kept her father's memory alive, Queen Elizabeth chose to display a photo of him during the Christmas address.

In the image taken from 1917, then-Prince Albert stands with his arms behind his back, wearing his naval uniform.

He was King of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the British Commonwealth from December 11, 1936, until his death in 1952.
