Wendy Williams reportedly still out sick after shoulder injury amid husband's cheating controversy

Wendy Williams is taking one more week off from her show as she continues to nurse her fractured shoulder. Suspicions are high that she may also be nursing a broken heart after recent rumors of her husband's alleged mistress' pregnancy.

Fans were surprised to learn that Wendy Williams wasn’t returning to her show as scheduled this week. An announcement was made on her show’s social media page revealing she was still nursing her injured shoulder and will be taking one more week off.

Williams seemed excited to be back on the screen with brand new episodes when she teased fans three days ahead of her January 7 return. In her Instagram post which has now been deleted, she wrote,

"3 DAYS until I'm back! New year means new shows. Make sure you turn-in on Monday.”

Unfortunately, Williams didn’t make it back as expected. Fans were instead informed via her show’s Instagram page that they will have to wait another week.

“Wendy Williams will be returning with all-new episodes of The Wendy Williams Show on Monday, January 14, 2019,” the announcement read and explained,

“After fracturing her shoulder, Wendy is on the mend and wants to return pain-free and be 200%, delivering the best show that millions of viewers tune-in to watch.”

WENDY'S HEALTH STRUGGLES

Before her show wrapped up its final episodes prior to the Christmas holidays, Williams was already wearing a sling due to a hairline fracture in her arm. She even apologized for slurring on air and attributed it to the medication she’s been taking to manage her pain.

“I’ve never broken a bone or experienced a fracture in my life. In the key place where the fracture is, and trying to scurry around and do too much, I am now paying the price. I’ve never taken a pain medication in my life (except when I got snatched over 20 years ago) until this week. I did that to power through and try to deliver a great show for you, against the better judgement [sic] of the many people around me who genuinely care for my well-being. I really do ride or die for my craft and give 200%.”

Williams has been struggling with her health this past year. She admitted back in February that she was diagnosed with Graves disease which is an autoimmune disease that attacks the thyroid gland. This forced her to go on a three-week hiatus after.

RUMORS ABOUT HER HUSBAND'S ALLEGED MISTRESS

Williams’ health isn’t the only thing that’s plaguing her lately. Rumors have been swirling that her husband of 20 years, Kevin Hunter had been secretly leading a double life. While married to Williams, he was reportedly also engaged in a relationship with Sharina Hudson, his alleged mistress for the past 10 years.

Williams denied the allegations through her representative when the rumors circulated last fall. Her rep even said Hudson and Hunter were just friends.

However, at the start of the new year, new rumors emerged. Reports suggested Hunter had impregnated Hudson. Neither Williams nor Hunter has addressed the new allegations though sources believe their marriage remains intact.
