Cardi B cradles daughter Kulture who is hooked up to a breathing mask in recent clip

Cardi B’s baby girl, Kulture, has not been feeling well and the rapper recently shared a short clip of the mask that’s been helping her breathe through the process.

The last couple of days have been challenging for Cardi B who is taking care of her sick baby for the first time as a mom.

Five-month-old Kulture is said to be battling a nasty viral infection that makes it difficult for her to breathe, hence the breathing mask visible in the rapper’s clip.

Cardi simply wore a white dressing gown and cradled her baby in a blanket, writing across the image: “Second day.”

MOTHERHOOD STRUGGLES

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, on Sunday, had earlier told fans how she hadn’t slept in 24 hours because she was nursing her child.

“I haven't slept for 24 hours, and I've been team-working with my sister and my mom. My baby has a cold,” Cardi, 26, shared, adding:

“And she wakes up every 20 minutes. She don't want nobody. We have to put her down for one second though she automatically wakes up. Such a hard, hard day.”

According to Daily Mail, in babies, the virus which causes the common cold can sometimes lead to more severe illnesses such as bronchiolitis, an inflammation of the small airways of the lungs, or even pneumonia.

Since Cardi and her estranged hubby, Offset, only welcomed Kulture last July, it’s no surprise that the doting mom would put her career and every other thing on hold to make sure her daughter gets better.

MARRIAGE STRUGGLES

Not even her personal drama with Offset, 27, is enough to distract the “Money” rapper from what appears to be her priority.

Cardi announced in a video on December 4 that she was parting ways with her husband, who she secretly married in September 2017.

Their relationship had been plagued with infidelity rumors on Offset’s part right from the beginning and Cardi admitted that "things just haven't been working out between us for a long time."

GETTING BACK TOGETHER

Since then, however, the “Migos” rapper has been doing a lot to win back his wife’s affections.

One of his most extravagant gestures was at Cardi's Rolling Loud Music Festival when he crashed her performance with a wall of flowers that read “Take Me Back, Cardi.”

He also went all out with an array of designer bags, shoes, and jewelry as Christmas gifts for Cardi and Kulture.

The couple was spotted in Puerto Rico, and even though Cardi insisted that it was only for sexual reasons, it strengthened reconciliation rumors.

DISAPPOINTED IN OFFSET

Meanwhile, a source told Hollywood Life.com that the former stripper/reality star is disappointed that Offset “has not stepped up as a father and helped take care of Kulture while she’s been sick.”

The insider added:

“Cardi feels like Offset has been trying to win her back with gifts and materialistic things, but the way to Cardi’s heart is through her baby. …Offset is not doing himself any favors by not being there for his family right now.”
