Kelly Ripa exchanged ugly sweaters for funny props when posing for family New Year photos

Kelly Ripa wasn't left out of the buzz of the festive period; she took to Instagram on new year's eve to post throwback photos featuring her and family.

In the photos which numbered up to 10, the “Live with Kelly and Ryan” talk show host had lovely moments on the post which she captioned:

“ A look back from several New Year's eve past, or At Least what was stored on my cell phone. The kids grow, but the party hats stay the same.”

The post had thousands of likes, and also well-wishing comments from fans. The bulk of the pictures shared by the 48-year-old included: 47-year-old husband, Mark Consuelos, 21-year-old son Michael, 17-year-old daughter Lola, and 15-year-old son Joaquin.

Photo No. 1; taken a few years ago, features the lovely family of five all smiling. The only indication depicting that the image was taken during a festive period is the “Happy New Year” hats that Ripa’s sons were wearing.

The next image is an old daddy-daughter moment of Consuelos and Lola. The beautiful girl could be seen blowing a noisemaker that has colorful streamers attached to it; with a hat on her head of course.

Another snapshot which appears to have been taken on a cold New Year’s Eve has Ripa and Joaquin both wrapped up in cream-colored blankets. There were also images of Ripa and Consuelos, her husband of 22 years. Kelly does have a lot to be thankful for; especially when it comes to her beautiful family.

Her youngest child, Joaquin, appeared in the sixth and seventh images. In one of these shots, he smiles cutely for his mom’s camera alongside his elder brother, Michael.

Before Christmas, Kelly shared the family's card on her page. To everyone's surprise, the card had Mark and his Riverdale family replace his real one.The host then captured the image:

Finally, the mother of three picked a recent picture as her last. This one is a selfie taken by Ripa; she was in her favorite “Happy New Year” headband. There was a smiling Joaquin of course, with Michael; Lola sits on the couch in the background unaware she was just about to be snapped.
