Pat Boone's daughter is all grown up and inherited his charming looks and singing talent

Pat Boone was a singer and actor who is best known for his roles in films such as “Journey to the Center of the Earth” and “State Fair.” His daughter is following in her father’s footsteps by pursuing a singing career.

Pat Boone is a musical icon and is considered the second-biggest recording artist of the 1950s, after Elvis Presley. He also acted in many films and television shows.

His daughter, Debby, is proving that the apple does not fall far from the tree. She has a passion for cinematography and is a singer and actress.

DAUGHTER DEBBY

When she was 21, Debby released a Grammy Award-winning song called “You Light Up My Life.” The single was on the Billboard Hot 100’s top spot for ten weeks.

Debby mainly sang country music, but in the 1980s sh started recording gospel music as well. She also received many awards for her work in this genre.

Besides singing, Debby is also an actress (both on stage and screen) and an author. She acted in the film “Sins of the Past” and a theatre production of the musical “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.”

Her work as an author has greatly been in the genre of children’s books which she co-authored with her husband, Gabriel Ferrer.

PAT’S PRAYERS

At the beginning of this year, Pat Boone sadly had to bid his wife, Shirley, farewell when she passed away. However, he tried his best to keep his wife of 65 years alive.

Shirley had vasculitis which had reached a point of being untreatable. Pat took matters into his own hands and prayed numerous times for her full recovery.

Unfortunately, she passed away on January 11. She is survived by Pat, their four daughters, 16 grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
