Tim McGraw has strict rules for anyone who wants to take his daughters out on a date
Country music star Tim McGraw has some strict rules with regards to his daughters' dating lives.
Tim and his wife Faith Hill are parents to Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey. These lovely ladies are all old enough to begin getting the attention of possible suitors.
Tim and Faith, who tied the knot in 1996, have always tried to give their daughters the most normal life possible, and never shared photos of them growing up.
THE SEVEN STRICT RULES
In a 2015 interview with Extra host Mario Lopez, Tim shared his seven essential rules that must be followed by anyone brave enough to date his daughters. The singer said his list is as follows:
- They have to come to the house.
- They have to meet me.
- They have to pick them up.
- They have to come inside.
- They have to talk to me.
- They have to talk to their mom.
- No honking and running out.
INTIMIDATING THE SUITORS
During the interview, Tim also shared that he is not scared to intimidate his daughters' potential suitors.
He told Lopez, who has a daughter himself, that he just happened to be cutting meat and was covered in blood the first time a boy came to take one of his daughters on a date.
The "Just to See You Smile" singer explained: “I had a big butcher knife when I answered the door. It wasn’t on purpose, but it worked out well.”
KEEPING THEIR GIRLS OUT OF THE PUBLIC EYE
Tim and Faith, who tied the knot in 1996, have always tried to give their daughters the most normal life possible, and never shared photos of them growing up.
As the older two have grown up and moved away to college, Tim and Faith have started sharing photos of them to their Instagram accounts, though they are still cagey about Audrey who lives at home.
While there still aren't many photos of Gracie and Maggie out for the public to see, there are just enough for people to have noticed that Maggie is the spitting image of her mother.
