‘Celebrity Big Brother’ season 2: Tamar Braxton, Kandi Burruss are feuding already after teaming up

The second season of “Celebrity Big Brother” premiered on January 21, and it included reality TV veterans Kandi Burruss and Tamar Braxton.

“Celebrity Big Brother” is the spin-off of “Big Brother.” The series consists of several people living together under constant surveillance. They cannot communicate with anyone, and take part in different competitions for a $500,000 prize.

After the success that the first season got, CBS renewed it for a second one. Apart from Kandi and Tamar, some of the most popular contestants are Anthony Scaramucci, Dina Lohan, Ryan Lochte, Tom Green, Lolo Jones, and Julie Chen.

KANDI AND TAMAR’S ALTERCATION

During the premiere episode, 42-year-old Kandi, who stars in “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and 41-year-old Tamar, who was part of “Braxton Family Values,” admitted that they were not friends.

Kandi even pointed out that they have had their good times, but also their bad times. However, Tamar chose Kandi to be her partner for the Head Of Household challenge, which insisted into transferring champagne from a bottle to a glass while swinging high in the air.

Later, Tamar pointed out that she picked Kandi to “extend the olive branch.” However, she regretted her decision and said, “I wanted people to at least know I was a contender. I ain't picking Kandi no more, I'll tell you that. She ain't invited,” [sic].

TAMAR BEING DRAGGED

It is not the first time that Tamar and Kandi have made headlines. In the singer’s case, she was dragged by internet trolls of being unsympathetic towards her sister Trina Braxton and her family after the death of her ex-husband, Gabe Solis.

However, she fired back and said, “Gabe was not my husband. Why would I post an ad on a RIP?? It was a joke between us and also his family asked if we didn’t post pictures!! I don’t understand why I’m being dragged??! Hold me accountable for my own [expletive] [how about that]!!”

KANDI GETTING BACKLASH

In Kandi’s case, some people shared their negative thoughts on her decisions as a mother after she posted a video of her son Ace getting his hair braided. The “RHOA” explained that Ace has a lot of hair, so much so that she had to take him to a professional.

However, people questioned how professional the stylist was, as she can be seen brushing the boy’s hair down on his forehead, a style that people usually put on girls. Kandi opted for ignoring all the hate in her comment section.
