Céline Dion spotted crying after hearing a song she performed in honor of her late husband

Céline Dion was unable to hold back tears at a Paris fashion show earlier this week. Fans of the singer believe they know exactly why.

The 50-year-old attended the Valentino Haute Couture fashion show three days ago. She and several guests enjoyed stunning ensembles.

Towards the end, they were even treated to a "free the nipple" look from fashion icon Naomi Campbell. Her appearance marked her return to the runway after 14 years.

It could be that the incredible show moved Dion so much that she cried. But fans think there was a more personal reason.

In several clips shared, Dion is seen crying and dabbing at her eyes to wipe away her tears.

If you listened carefully, you could hear the song of the background music.It was Roberta Flack's "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face."

Those who claimed to know Dion's story said that this was the song played during her marriage to her late husband René Angélil.

This, combined with the fact that the show was done on the three-year anniversary of Angélil's funeral, perfectly explained Dion's tears.

Just a few days ago, she shared some heartwarming words as she remembered her late husband on what would have been his birthday.

René Angélil passed away in January 2016 at the age of 74. He was 26 years Dion's senior, but the pair's relationship was 21 years strong before his death.

Before the audience at her Las Vegas residency show in Caesars Palace, Dion dedicated a song to him.

"This is the greatest gift that I can offer him for his birthday because what he loved the most in the world is the fans, the music and to see me perform for you."

When she and the audience finished singing John Farnham's "You're The Voice" together, Dion looked to the sky and blew a kiss.

The 50-year-old will always remember her former sweetheart. According to recent reports, she might be getting a new man, though.

Dion was spotted hand in arms with 34-year-old Pepe Munoz just this week. The two appeared at a number of festivities for Paris Fashion Week, exchanging laughs and looks at various shows.

The pair became friends once Munoz, a Spaniard, began dancing backup for the singer. While it would be great to see Dion find love, they have previously addressed the romantic rumors.

In January 2018, Pepe described the whole idea as being "amusing." He explained that the two can always talk to each other and that's all it is.
