Tyrese Gibson shares new adorable photos of his baby daughter, showing their striking resemblance

Tyrese Gibson continues to show off his adorable daughter even as he engages the mother of his older child in court. The actor also has an interesting request for his wife, Samantha Gibson.

The “Fast & Furious” star took to Instagram recently with photos of his little girl, Soraya Lee Gibson, in a cute, white onesie.

The three-month-old looked alert as she fixed her gaze on something off-camera, but beyond that, the pictures displayed once again the striking resemblance between father and daughter.

“Were so in love,” Tyrese gushed in the caption where he also hashtagged #DaddysTwin. “We just can’t take it!!!!!!!”

He then addressed his wife, Samantha:

“I’m almost done with this meeting lovey I think it’s time for us to try for a boy!!!"

WELCOMING SORAYA

We’re not sure how open Samantha will be to the actor’s request, considering she endured 30 hours of labor to deliver their daughter on October 1 last year.

Tyrese, 40, raved over his wife’s strength on social media while sharing the news of Soraya’s birth. Alongside a picture of her tiny footprints on a birth certificate, Tyrese wrote:

“Father God we love you for delivering on your promise princess Soraya Lee Gibson is here...... 8 pounds 6 Oz our lives just changed forever. …My wife is the real champion 30 hours of labor I witnessed first hand the strength of a woman. Thank you Jesus we are so humbled by your grace and love and favor #Amen.”

SHARING THEIR JOY

The proud parents, did not, however, post full photos of their daughter until about two weeks later. The “Baby Boy” actor shared professional photoshoot pictures of Soraya and explained why they kept her off social media for that long.

“We hesitated to post our angel, and after embracing her love and joy for the last 2 weeks we decided to share our answered prayer,” Tyrese wrote. “We’re convinced that “God must have spent a little more time on her.”

Since then, Tyrese and his social worker wife frequently share photos and videos of their daughter being adorable and generally doing what babies do. And of course, Tyrese never hesitates to remind us that Soraya is his twin. Proud dad!

TROUBLE WITH THE EX

Recently, the father-of-two was reported to be angry at his ex-wife, Norma Gibson, for leaving the country and having their 11-year-old daughter, Shayla stay over the night at a friend’s house instead of calling him.

Tyrese and Norma share joint legal custody of Shayla and according to a court order from 2014, the actor has the right of first refusal. This means Norma has to inform him if she’s leaving town.

Tyrese has filed court documents addressing the issue and a judge has granted his request, mandating Norma to appear in court. Failure to do so may lead to her being held in contempt of court, and she may have to pay Tyrese’s legal and attorney fees.

LEGAL HISTORY

Following their 2009 divorce, Norma and Tyrese were engaged in a messy custody battle that wrapped up in 2017, with the actor getting joint custody of their daughter.

At the time, Tyrese described it as "a win" for their daughter "because she gets to spend equal time with both of her parents.”

Reps for Norma and Tyrese are yet to comment on the latest legal developments.
