Michael Douglas’ daughter is 15, and a new video shows her inborn singing talent in all its glory

It's Carys Douglas's fifteenth birthday, and just like her mother, the teenager is very talented at singing; this is evident in an impromptu after-dinner clip posted by her mum.

With so much pressure on children of celebrities, some have gone as far as surpassing their parents in the industry. Carys is the daughter of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

She's grown so much over the years, and there is a lot of resemblance between the 15-year-old and her beautiful mom; with her smooth skin, brown eyes and dark hair.

One other thing Carys got from her actress mom is her amazing talent. Zeta-Jones took to her Instagram page, to post a video of her daughter effortlessly singing while also playing the piano. The teenager's voice was mind-blowing, full of power and soft at the same time.

Apart from singing, Carys has also delved into modeling, recently bagging her first cover for Town and Country looking stunning in the shoot alongside her mom.

The Queen America star seems to be an encouraging mum; she posted another picture of Carys posing beside a vintage beetle, looking like a high-class supermodel and captioned it: “Carys with a car.”

As an aspiring model, her interest isn't going unnoticed; she's had a couple of appearances at the New York Fashion Week, first at Michael Kors and then at Dolce and Gabbana; big names for a small girl!

Even with all these, the teenager has her mind in acting as well and has started taking classes to that effect. She also plays the piano and hopes to have an Ivy League Education.

Any parent would be proud to have such a brilliant child, and Michael and Catherine are no exception. The lovebirds who married in 2000 have two lovely kids together.

Most people keep asking how the couple have managed to stay together this long. The answer: Michael told Catherine when they just met, that he was going to father her children, this was after finding out that they both shared the same birthday, isn't that cute?

Catherine says:

“He is the kindest man I have ever met in my life.”

While for Douglas, apart from the birthday twinning, it was the fact that she played golf.

“I found out she played golf. I melted right there. She looked straight into my eyes, and that was it.” - Michael

Years later, they still can't get enough of each other.
