Tika Sumpter shares heart-melting pic of husband and their daughter doing the dishes together

Tika Sumpter, the actress best known for the “Haves and the Have Nots,” took to Instagram on Valentine’s Day to share a photo of her husband and daughter doing the dishes.

In the image, Nick James, who also appeared in the previously mentioned TV show, is in front of the sink wearing a dark blue jean and a white shirt while the couple’s daughter, Ella Loren, put on dark grey sweatpants and a striped sweater.

For the caption, the actress wrote, “love you both to pieces. Regardless of the day,” tagging her husband and adding the hashtag “happy Valentine’s Day.”

Nick was doing most of the work, but the fact that the child was willing to help in the chores captured the attention of a lot of people who took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

“He really works my nerves on HAHN but I love this pic,” admitted one user.

“Ella looks like a little redhead now adorable,” pointed out a second follower.

“Such a beautiful pic of your family! Thanks for sharing them with us! Especially on Valentines Day....love your hubby with all that hair too...so use to seeing him without any,” [sic] wrote another person.

THE COUPLE’S RELATIONSHIP

Tika and Nick welcomed their only daughter to the world on October 8, 2016. Before giving birth, the identity of Ella’s father was a secret as they kept their relationship under the wraps to avoid negative comments from people who don’t support interracial relationships.

Nick proposed on Christmas day back in 2016 by arranging a "little hunt" around the house with their daughter. At the end of the hunt, she found a letter from Nick in which he proposed.

When their romance hit the limelight, they got the backlash they tried to prevent, but it was nothing that they couldn’t shake off. In a tweet, the actress responded to the negative comments saying that was just a “girl” who met a “boy” and fell in love. Attached to the tweet, Tika uploaded a photo of Nick posing in a very attractive way.

ELLA’S HEART MELTING PHOTOS

It is not the first time that Ella has melted people’s hearts, though. Earlier this month, the actress shared an image wherein she appeared wearing black Adidas shoes, green sweatpants, a light grey Mickey Mouse sweater, and black sunglasses.

Her two-year-old child was by her side rocking white Adidas shoes, blue jeans, a striped black and white long-sleeved shirt, and blue sunglasses. Apart from their stylish clothes and their beautiful poses, the aspect that attracted more attention was how similar both ladies look. As for the caption, Tika only wrote “Chilly.”

At the moment, the actress is focused on her role in the “Haves and the Have Nots,” as well as in a couple of projects, including the films “ An Acceptable Loss,” “Sonic the Hedgehog,” and “The Nomads,” which are in post-production and are expected to hit theaters this year.
