Jamie Foxx Arrives at Post-Oscars Bash with Jessica Szohr after Reportedly Declaring Himself Single

Jamie Foxx, who has been linked with Katie Holmes for the longest time, was recently seen at a post-Oscars party with a different woman after reportedly declaring himself single a few hours earlier.

The “Robin Hood” actor was at a charity Oscars event when he made the shocking revelation, fueling breakup rumors with the “Dawson's Creek” alum.

A source told Us Weekly that Foxx, 51, casually dropped his updated relationship status while performing at the third annual Entertainment Studios Oscar Gala Supporting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

THE BOMBSHELL

The insider said:

“It was very nonchalant. While he was referring to married and single couples, he just dropped the line ‘I’m single.’”

Later that night, Foxx attended Beyoncé and Jay-Z's super-exclusive post-Oscars bash in West Hollywood, and Holmes was nowhere in sight.

NEW GIRL?

Instead, Foxx paired up with “Gossip Girl” actress Jessica Szohr, who he recently cast in his directorial debut, “All-Star Weekend,” reports Dailymail.com. The outlet also reported that Foxx partied on Saturday night with two models before his sighting with Szohr.

Earlier that night, the duo was reportedly spotted at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

There were rumors that the “Ray” actor and Holmes were planning a secret Paris wedding.

The 33-year-old, however, spent most of the night hanging out with a female friend.

ALL EYES ON FOXX AND HOLMES

Foxx and Szohr’s outing, coupled with the actor’s latest declaration, no doubt raises eyebrows concerning his relationship status with his longtime rumored partner, Holmes.

Although Foxx and Holmes are fiercely private about their relationship, keeping public outings to the barest minimum, the two have come to be known as a secret couple.

They reportedly started dating in October 2013, about a year after Holmes’ divorce from her ex-husband and Foxx’s “Collateral” co-star Tom Cruise.

Holmes and Cruise have a 12-year-old daughter, Suri while Foxx has two daughters, Corinne, 25, and Annalise, nine, from previous relationships.

THE COUPLE HAVE HISTORY

Holmes and Foxx (whose birth name is Eric Bishop) were spotted together as early as December 2018 when they engaged in a rare PDA session and were photographed kissing aboard a yacht.

Holmes was even said to have spent her 40th birthday celebrating with her mom and Foxx.

"Katie and Jamie looked happy. They both came in the same car together, with her mom. Her mom walked out with a cake box at the end," an insider revealed. "Jamie and Kathleen ordered their frozen hot chocolate, and Katie had a strawberry sundae. [They] all seemed like they were having a great time."

WEDDING & ENGAGEMENT RUMORS

Last November, there were rumors that the “Ray” actor and Holmes were planning a secret Paris wedding after the “All We Had” actress convinced him to “settle down.”

It appeared the speculations had some substance as Holmes was spotted wearing what looked like an engagement ring, but her rep quickly shut it down, explaining that the ring was a prop for “The Secret,” a movie Holmes was filming at the time.

The “Baby Driver” actor and Holmes were subject to breakup rumors earlier in 2018, but this will be the first time one of the two will reportedly claim to be single.

Knowing how private they are, however, it’s not likely either of them will address the latest development directly.
