Barbra Streisand Shows off Her Beautiful Family as She Smiles with Her Son and Husband of 20 Years

Honored for her environmental contributions, best-selling recording artist Barbra Streisand stands proud with her family by her side.

Barbra Streisand is a multi-awarded singer, songwriter, actress, and filmmaker. And thanks to the UCLA Institute of the Environment & Sustainability, Streisand can add environmentalist to her list of achievements. In a speech she gave after receiving the award at the 2019 Hollywood for Science Gala in Los Angeles, she managed to share her joy of becoming a grandmother last November. She said,

“I’ve always been struck by the Iroquois’ Seven Generations principle. Before they made any decision, they considered the impact it would have seven generations to come. It wasn’t only about today. It wasn’t about profits. It was about the health of the earth for future generations. I recently became a grandma, and I can’t help but wonder what kind of planet will be left for my granddaughter…and yours…after unrestrained climate change.”

Receiving the award meant a lot to the “Funny Girl” star who has funded and supported many environmentalist groups and causes.

James Brolin, Streisand’s husband of 20 years, was with her at the event, as was his son and daughter-in-law Josh and Kathryn Brolin. She proudly shared the beautiful photo of her family on Instagram.

Both James and Barbra acknowledge the good fortune of a long-lasting Hollywood marriage. And Streisand loves the instant family she got when she married Brolin. So when Josh and Kathryn welcomed their first child together last year, she was over the moon.

The 50-year-old actor has a very close relationship with his stepmother, Barbra.
