Tamera Mowry Returns to ‘The Real’ after Extended Illness and Explains Tia's Breast Milk treatment
Tamera Mowry-Housely is back on "The Real" after a long illness, and she revealed how her sister Tia's breast milk helped her to heal.
On March 4, 2019, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, and Jeannie Mai welcomed back their co-host Tamera Mowry-Housely after her debilitating bout with viral pneumonia.
Tamera is back on her feet, and back at "The Real" where she shared the secret of her recovery: Her sister Tia's breast milk.
"Tia found out that I was sick that she was freaking out and she wanted to step in and be the great sister that she is, so she sent me this article the day before about how breast milk has lots of healing properties."
TAMERA'S BOUT OF VIRAL PNEUMONIA
Fans of "The Real" have been missing Tamera on the show. The 40-year-old actress has been out sick and struggling to recover from a long illness.
It turns out that Tamera had a bout of bronchitis that turned into flu - and the flu turned into a much more serious viral pneumonia.

TIA'S IDEA TO AID TAMERA'S RECOVERY
Tamera was struggling to recover, and her twin Tia had an idea. She had read an article that explained that that one ounce of breast milk contained more infection-fighting white blood cells than the average human body. Tia, who is still nursing her daughter Cairo who was born in May 2018, offered her sister her milk.
TAMERA'S ADVENTURE WITH THE BREAST MILK
Although Tamera was initially reluctant, she was so desperate to recover her health and energy that she agreed to try Tia's suggestion and consumed half a cup of her expressed breast milk.
TAMERA DESCRIBED TIA'S MILK AS "THE BEST EVER"
Tamera, who had breastfed her own children, revealed that Tia's milk was delicious, and much tastier than her own:
"When I was nursing. I was curious ‘cause my kids loved it, you know so I was like, let me try it. And mine tasted a little bit more like chai tea. Hers tasted like vanilla latte."
Tamera confessed that though Tia's milk didn't work the expected miracle, it did help her feel better.
"It helped me a little bit, you know. I feel like if I drank more, I probably would have felt more of the healing properties. But thank you, Tia, that’s what twins are for!"

"THE REAL" DISCUSSES THE JORDYN WOODS SCANDAL
Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry-Housely discussed Jordyn Woods' recent interview on Jada Pinkett Smith's "Red Table Talk" and the theme of the conversation veered into male accountability. Of which the ladies surmised there is none.
When a man is unfaithful, the four noted, the "other woman" is always blamed, although the man is the one breaking the trust of his partner.
In the case of Jordyn Woods, the problem is, of course, more complex. Woods was not only the BFF of the injured party's sister, but she was also a close friend and confidante of Khloé Kardashian.
In a related story, Tia Mowry shared a heartbreaking tribute to her late grandmother on the day that would have been her 90th birthday.
